Meet me under the Mistletoe + a Giveaway

Giveaway at the end of the post

I love the little things that come with the holidays – the lit up tree, holiday songs on the radio while driving, pine cone and cinnamon scented candles, everything… Although we put an artificial tree each year because invariably we travel for most part of december – I get hints of the real stuff  like pinecones and of course our mistletoe.

There is a quaint nursery in our neighborhood that I love going to. It is bustling with families shopping for trees, enjoying the hot chlorate and cookies laid out for the shoppers, with rows and rows of pretty bows, wreaths and ornaments, it is just like a little Christmas village.

I love that it has become almost a tradition of ours to visit the nursery. I wore this holiday red Liz Claiborne cape from JCPenney, love how festive the red is and it just fits perfectly with the surrounding decor. The gorgeous color and flowing fabric makes a statement and the coziness of a wrapped cape is much welcome. If the red is too bright for you, it also comes in black and a classic plaid.

I also have a special treat for you guys – something that you will definitely love during these busy days of shopping, dinners, parties and all the running around. A purse that goes with all your holiday dresses and also has inbuilt back-up charger. How cool is that? Enter the giveaway below – winner will be announced on 12/17. Good luck – xo Neha

DECORATING COOKIES TOGETHER - MAKING MOMENTS

These last few months, I feel Zoe is growing up so fast. Every day she surprises me with something new – a new way of expressing herself, a new song she heard somewhere, new words – big words!! Just last week, she started reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, just casually, while we were changing clothes. Wait! When did that happen? Those are some big words kid.
