Some styles simply continue to remain favorites season after season, such as the lace trimmed sweaters & blanket scarves. I think they were made for lazy girls( like me! ). When you don’t want to put too much thought into an outfit and yet have it look well-styled, these are pure winners!
Bulky, over-sized sweaters getting a feminine touch with a hint of lace peeping at the bottom – now that’s really brilliant. The lace trims make an outfit look really put-together, even though you are just throwing on a big bulky sweater. There’s actually another thing you could try – throw on your favorite knit over a slip ( or your nightgown ) and no one would ever know) ( don’t worry – I won’t tell! )

I love blanket scarves for the simple reason that they are as practical as their being stylish. When as many layers as possible is a welcome way of dressing up ( hello Boston winters!), having an accessory that lends warmth and can be styled multiple ways, is a winner in my accessories closet.
