Lisbon might actually be getting the coveted spot on my list top 5 places visited so far! It reminded me so much of Prague, with its red roofs and pastel colored homes. What I found most intriguing was walking through the streets … really steep sloped streets… and stumbling across cute gems, like pretty little historic cafes or old rustic homes or just a quaint street corner.love-playing-dressup-neha-gandhi-lisbon-fitinclouds-OOTD-petiteblogger-lisbonguide-goldenskirt-fauxfurmittens-christmasinportugal32-1

You know how seriously I take the comfort factor in my footwear and these Fit in Clouds ballet flats saved the day while I climbed and descended the cobbled stoned streets. Infact, I always throw them in my luggage while traveling. They take literally no space and I like to have a some cute options when I want to swap out my heels every once in a while.love-playing-dressup-neha-gandhi-lisbon-fitinclouds-OOTD-petiteblogger-lisbonguide-goldenskirt-fauxfurmittens-christmasinportugal5

When in Lisbon, you have to hop on the number 28 tram – it takes you through the historic parts of the town and as if that weren’t enough – you will be riding in the original models from the early 1930s. How’s that for historic charm?love-playing-dressup-neha-gandhi-lisbon-fitinclouds-OOTD-petiteblogger-lisbonguide-goldenskirt-fauxfurmittens-christmasinportugal

Here’s a tip – if you have just one day to spend in Lisbon, take the tram or a tuk-tuk and head to the Alfama neighbourhood. Here you will have everything that Lisbon is known for – the pretty views of the ocean, the best seats in town to take some classic pictures and local-food galore! I found some really good vegetarian food in Portugal in this neighbourhood. Oh yes… and tons of crepes stalls!

The city center was the hub of the entertainment. Street performers, carol-singers and ice-skating rinks providing so much entertainment at any hour of the day. Plus a little beach from where you could catch a view of the famous 25th April Bridge. Were you following our trip on Snapchat? =)) ( lovenehagandhi)

I definitely recommend putting Lisbon on your list if you are planning a trip to Europe – xo Neha
