One of my favorite things to do with Zoe is travelling. It is so amazing to see her explore, get excited by little things, interact with people … oh the list goes on. Early this month, we took a trip down to Florida to Jacksonville. It was one of those trips, where the moment you take off, you are in a true Out of Office mode.
We stayed at the Ponte Vedra Lodge and Club and fell in love with the place.The hotel is right on the beach and is surrounded by palm trees. Our room had the cutest balcony overlooking the ocean – I simply loved waking up to it each morning. You could literally hear the waves crashing in the evening and there were fireworks one night, which was rather magical. The weather was perfect. If you live in a place like Boston, where you can never really predict the weather and it is cold most of the year – this tropical weather was music to the soul. Pretty much everything about the trip was everything we were hoping our vacation to be.
The hotel was very kid friendly and they had as separate family pool – with slides, splash fountains and soak pools. We spent a lot of time in the pool, napping in the afternoon, having drinks at the beach cafe in the evenings and ordering dinner in the room at night. haha. We dint want it any other way. There was only one thing on the agenda and it was to chill and that’s exactly what we did. xo Neha
