Spring Wedding Guest Dress

love-playing-dressup-neha-gandhi-lalabee-3It was one of those beautiful early Spring days in Boston. The sun was shining bright and the wind was blowing cold – just like Charles Dickens must have experienced his March day when he penned down these words!love-playing-dressup-neha-gandhi-lalabee-5

That morning, Amit said it is just the perfect day to be outside and take some pictures. A man after my own heart….  love-playing-dressup-neha-gandhi-lalabee-1

I instantly thought of the dress from the Lalla Bee collection blooming in my closet, slowly waiting for a Spring outing as well.  It only seemed apt to go explore a spot that I had pinned in my day-trips/photo shoot locations board quite some time ago. If you have been a longtime reader of this blog, you know I have a soft spot for dresses from the Lalla Bee collection. Some of my previous trysts with the lovely textures and unique silhouettes are here & here. The Lalla Bee online store recently went live and some of these pretty, timeless dresses are now available for buying. You can use the code LALLABEE15 at checkout for a discount!love-playing-dressup-neha-gandhi-lalabee-7

We have a few wedding coming up in the spring and summer months and I would wear this dress at a wedding in a heartbeat. I rarely wear sleeveless dresses and when I do, I always have something at hand like a shrug or a fur collar or a light jacket to put on. This sequins jacket is so cute with just right amount of sparkle. Do you have any occasions coming up where you will be playing dressup? – xo Nehalove-playing-dressup-neha-gandhi-lalabee-2

Outfit details : Lalla Bee dress, Asos sequins jacket, White pumps, Smoke X Mirros sunglasses, Chanel lipstick

Martha's Vineyard Getaway

Things we took for granted earlier, we truly value them now. Like weekend getaways. A quick load of essentials, stuffed into a weekender and jetting off somewhere far, yet close. Exploring destinations close to the backyard. Those have always been my reprise after long continuous tiring weeks. Never giving much thought, spur of the moment plans, to discover something new or simply for dolce far niƩnte .
