It has been almost two months since we got back from our trip to Spain and Portugal ( you can read all the places to see, eat, stay and tons of pictures here ) I am enjoying going through the pictures and my travel notes, re-living our adventures as I pen them down on these pages.  I kept the best of the Spain adventures for the last ( yes…a couple more posts to come ) This one is all about the pretty town of Seville!

Seville will instantly capture your heart with its antique charm.

We stayed at a charming boutique hotel – Casa De Colon, right in the heart of the town. It had a sweet mix of modern and vintage decor  – Moroccan style tiled-walls and stained glass windows. My favorite part about staying at this hotel was the sound of the Seville Cathedral bells in the morning – so serene!

I wore my Fit in Clouds flats while exploring Seville. I’ve said it many times before, but I really love these ballet flats and they pack like a dream.

The views from the cathedral’s bell tower are simply stunning! A sea of white roofs as far as the eye can see, lending their own unique charm to this place.

The Plaza de Espana was another beautiful spot. The streets outside the plaza are lined with stalls for shopping local goodies. This was our favorite place to grab a bite at any time of the day.

If you love to eat and are like us –  want to try everything – one word –  tapas!! Vegetarian options were easily available and we even found a couple Indian restaurants in this quaint little town. It is not everyday that you pluck your own fruit and enjoy it then and there!  Visiting Seville is definitely a treat for the senses – colorful homes, fragrant orange blossoms filling the air, a bustling night life and every corner bursting with architecture, we loved it all and cannot recommend enough putting this on your travel bucket list . xo – Neha
