To say that I love perfumes is an understatement. I love how fragrance makes you feel all put-together, like you are now ready – for that dinner or date or meeting or just be at home and have the day all to yourself.
I recently ordered the Hermes Eau des Merveilles Elixir ( say it aloud and feel oh so french! ) from Fragrance Net. The Eau des Merveilles was created to portray a modern fairy tale, bursting with charm and mystery. Love how sensuous and enchanting it sounds! It smells just the same. I always associate fragrances with emotions.. feelings.. memories – and the Hermes Eau des Merveilles takes me down to the Seine bridge in Paris, standing on which Amit and I had fallen in love with the Eiffel Tower lights. It gives you a sense of luxe – I wouldn’t have expected any less of Hermes any way!

Our Valentines Day plans include a very exciting brunch, one that I am really looking forward to, followed by meeting some friends for drinks in the evening and then it wouldn’t be a perfect date if not topped with some Netflix binging on the couch ( Amit agrees! ) – so there are a few episodes of The Following on the agenda as well.
