You know how we all have that one room or a space in our house that we have huge plans for, but haven’t gotten around yet. Well for me, it has been literally every room and corner until this summer. Admittedly it has been two years since we moved in,  but we just started decorating the rooms. Ofcourse, there are still rooms remaining to be decorated and even in the ones that right now feel put together, I am pretty sure we’ll be adding new pieces, changing things here and there.

Coming to our guest bedroom, I wanted the room to look luxurious ( like a nice hotel room, if you may ) but at the same time very cozy and welcoming. Something, that would make our friends and family using it, feel right at home.

 

I am completely in love with the bright red suede panels from Vant Panels. There are so many ways in which you can use the panels, we decided to cover an entire wall with them thus creating this bright red focal point in the room that makes a huge impact. Check out my YouTube video to see how easy the installation was. Also, the panels are super easy to clean so that makes the cleanliness freak in me very happy.

To offset the red wall, we decided to paint the room with a pure white shade (POLAR BEAR by BEHR #75) that makes it look bigger and airy. And ofcourse, my love for fluffy, cloud like white bedding is extended in this room as well.

We got the curtains, lamp shades and the Taj Mahal frame from Minted. If you remember, I have the little art gallery in my home-office with vintage pictures from Minted as well. I just love their collection.
