Day Trip to Newburyport

Finally getting around to posting these pictures from a weeks ago. We drove down to Newburyport for a day trip. It couldn’t have been a more perfect day – beautiful weather, walking, exploring, picnic in the park, ice cream, good food! There’s so much to do in that little town – seriously it is so small that we kept bumping into the same people again and again at different places. Like the couple that was in the cafe while we were getting coffee, we saw them at the harbor park again. And there was this family who was at the ice cream shop with us in the afternoon, we ended up at the same restaurant for dinner.

I think I should do a detailed Newburyport guide post since we go there so often and there’s so much to do and I have a lot of favorites. The place is filled with amazing restaurants, cafes, book shops, vintage stores, small boutiques, bike trails, there’s the beach, ofcourse.

We took some pictures when we reached there in the morning and then kept the camera back in the car. I am wearing what I call my mom dress, because it has inbuilt shorts. The number of times I squat in public to pick up the stuff  Zoe drops is not even funny. It’s a game – drop something, let mumma pick it up, repeat. Hah!
