Happy New Year guys! I took a break last few days and it felt so nice. And not just staying away from the laptop physically but even mentally! I tried not to think about upcoming projects, contracts to be reviewed, calendar to be planned. No- none of that! I was surprised at how much I was able to just be in the moment. It is not that hard actually.

I always get excited about the new year. You know how we always say, once this week is over, I’ll get started with that new project. Or once the holidays are over, I’ll start watching what I eat. Or once I finish watching this show on Netflix, Ill cut down on binging. Well, there isn’t a better excuse given by the universe itself to get some gears in motion to end something that doesn’t give happiness, start something new you have always wanted or add more zeal to an existing dream.

I have a lot of ideas for the blog content brewing for the new year but I would also love to hear from you, what kind of topics would you like me to cover? What discussions would you like to have? outfits, travel coverage, decor posts, baby related content, Motherhood stories …

Meanwhile, there are some fun giveaways going on and ending soon!

READING TIME WITH ZOE - OUR FAVORITE BOOKS ( AT 18 MONTHS )

When I was pregnant with Zoe, I would call my mom with questions about being pregnant, about her experience and stories about raising my brother and I,  and all the million questions that a pregnant/new mom would typically have. I specifically remember asking her how did I learn to love books so much? How did they imbibe the passion for reading in me. To which mom had said – you can’t teach your kid to be passionate about something but you give them the tools, encouragement and set an example.
