They say that when you want to attract something into your life, make sure your actions don’t contradict your desires. Thus, I am officially ditching my winter coats and bulky sweaters now. Let it snow in April or blow crazy winds, I have taken it upon myself to spring into action to attract spring… for all of us. You are welcome =)) Won’t you join me?

I am sharing a few hacks that I have under my belt to get Spring-ready!

  • Closet Cleanup: First things first – pack away all those winter coats and sweaters.
I store my knits and coats in plastic bins and garment bags. Do NOT leave your sweaters hanging or even in the dry cleaners plastic bags. Also, dont over-stuff the boxes, apparently these babies need to breathe as well!
  • Winter Boots: I have written about this before as well – these puppies are best stored upright. My go-to and cheapest hack is to stuff old magazines in them and store them in  storage boxes to avoid the boot-slump.

Or just buy tons of these boxes ( not expensive at all! ) and find a home for your beloved winter essentials until the next winter.

  • Outside the house : We have a decent sized yard that has some serious potential but the brown thumb that I am – I know nothing about what to do in that area. ( any beginner tips will be great! ) The mister jokes ( which is true anyway! ) that plants come to our house to die! Not letting that deter us – I am filling the yard and the front of our house with pretty planters and colorful patio furniture.
  • Inside the house: Switch to softer shades of bedding. I usually have white bedding throughout the year but the addition of these pom-poms adds such a cute spring inspired vibe. Adding indoor low-maintenance plants is a quick way to bring the outside inside. How cute are these hanging planters! And…Fresh flowers… enough said! =))

In the closet: Spring is all about colors, pastels, florals, swing dresses, off shoulder tops, cropped jeans, boyfriend shorts… wow! I must be really excited about playing dressup in spring. I am totally obsessed with the off-shoulder trend – this dress and this top are going to be on major repeat!
