One of the most beautiful seasons that we get to experience here in New England is on the horizon. The evenings here are getting crisp, shops are filled with pumpkins and fall decor and the mile-marker Pumpkin Spice Lattes have arrived!
Autumn hues and light layers are the key to dressing up for this season. There is no denying that blanket scarves have been a rage every season. They are cozy and are a great accessory for bringing any outfit together.
I love this wrap from JCPenney – it is a blanket scarf but with the cutest toggle buttons thus making it easier to throw on and go. It can also be worn without buttoning and just as a typical scarf. I am very happy that the scarf isn’t too bulky, giving just the right amount of warmth, thus making it perfect for the transitional weather. It comes in so many different styles and colors – here, here and here. As a matter of fact, I keep a wrap at work throughout the year – office buildings are notorious for being too cold, so this will be great for throwing something on the shoulders.
We went apple picking a couple weekends ago, it was slightly chilly, quite windy but such a beautiful day. Just perfect for the first fall tradition =)) This burgundy top is a great piece for layering – like the wrap, this one isn’t too bulky either, so it’ll be great for putting on a vest or a cardigan. What Fall things are you most looking forward to? xo – Neha
